Community Commitment in Action

GCI is committed to leading philanthropy efforts across Alaska. Through its GCI Gives program, GCI contributes over $2 million each year to more than 100 Alaska nonprofit organizations. The GCI Suicide Prevention Grant Program supports local efforts to reduce suicide rates in Alaska. Each year, GCI provides every employee with 16 hours of paid leave to volunteer with local organizations and give back to their communities.
